5 Star Materials; 3 Star ErgonomicsNot sure how people love this that much. It definitely appears to made of high quality materials, and has very smooth motion for what it is, but the ergonomics of holding it and pulling it closed is very awkward. It’s not a natural. I feel like they over-engineered it. I am sure I will get used to it, but I think they need to go back to the drawing board on hand how the hand operates. An absolute essentialI will never be caught in my kayak without this. It has saved me on countless occasions with deep hooks or pissed off pike. I’ve even used it more times than I remember to remove stubborn barbs. Fantastic product.
