Helpful Tips
The compressible nature of our synthetic insulation allows your blanket to pack down super small. Please note that when you initially remove the blanket from its stuff sack after storage, it may appear thin and compressed. Not to worry!
Just give it a good shake and allow some time for it to regain its full loft and poofy-ness.
* Bonus tip – If you’re one for immediate gratification, just throw your blanket in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes and it will puff back up right away.

2 Years Old and Still GoingI bought my Get Out Gear Puffy blanket over 2 years ago and it’s still good as new. It has maintained its puffy nature and packs down tight and compactly. We camp in cold (California cold 28*F) and this blanket keeps us warm while lounging by the camp fire and in our tent. It’s also great for lining our mesh chairs or sleeping pads. Did I mention that’s it’s still puffy 2 years later? I recommend this blanket to everyone!

Warm!It definitely keeps your body head in!However because of how lite it is and because of the nylon it tends to easily slide off while I’m sleeping 😆But I do love it. I was going to keep it in my car but I use it more on my couch or even drag it with me to bed 😆In wouldnt recommend this as your ONLY sleeping blanket if you are camping in cold conditions.

Lightest blanket I ownThis was a recommendation from another camper.I currently have fleece blankets and a 12vdc electric blanket. I was able to replace two of the fleece blankets with this product. Very lightweight (just holding it makes you think that this product, being so lightweight, could not work, but it does. ) Love this blanket. Except for the warmth, you would not feel this blanket is covering you!

Great With CaveatsThis is one of those times when I wish there was half-stars. I really cannot give this a 5-star review, but it doesn’t deserve 4 either. Initially, I wanted to not like this blanket. It was packaged well, nice stuff sack, but when I removed it, I was a bit disappointed – it was neither as fluffy, nor as big as it seemed in the ad. It was also all snapped together, which obviously was not hard to figure out, but it would have been nice to have some instructions and/or tips and ideas on how to use it alternatively. That aside, after using this blanket for a couple of weeks, I really have come to love it. It’s not as big as I would like it to be Norris puffy as I would like it to be, but it is lightweight is made well, understanding that there’s a huge difference between something that’s being made the light weight and being made cheap. This is made well and is light weight. I live full-time in a uninsulated cabin with a woodstove for heat. Needless to say, it can get pretty cold in here and this blanket does very nicely are taking the chill off.Still, this blanket was almost $60 and I guess the question is would I buy it again? Maybe not at $60 but I would purchase one again.

Summer weight, in my opinionI really like this blanket. It’s compact when packed and light weight. However, I was expecting it to be warmer. I car camped at about 50F (might have been low as 45F) overnight and was chilly even with clothes on. And I tend to sleep hot which is why I opted for a blanket rather than a sleeping bag. But, for warmer weather it’s perfect.

Nice, light, puffyI bought this rather than getting a 3 season bag. I have a 150 fill 1-2 season bag which is a bit too cold, this on top was toasty. My only gripe is the poppers could be positioned for a foot box, it only closes for a poncho and also it’s a bit slippery so can slip off you in the night (I imagine similar products will behave like this) I may add some poppers or velcro of my own to help keep it in place.

Great addition to kitBought this as saw recommended on YouTube channel I follow. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Fluffs up really nice, lightweight, compresses okay in its sack. It is tougher to get back in its bag mainly because the sack is a crazy slippery material and it’s a snug fit. Hard to grip the sack to stuff it back in. Very weird. Haven’t used it camping so will update it but have tried it out at home in our Canadian prairie winter and well made, lightweight and really good warmth considering how thin it is. Mainly bought it to add a layer over my sleeping bag in colder nights when I’m motorcycle camping. Happy I bought it and would buy it again. No regrets.
