- UPDATED DESIGN: Ribs were added as reinforcements to the two clamps making them twice as durable. The two bottom end caps have improved threading that stay on shut. The velcro straps were removed since most didn’t find them useful. The cable-tie opening at the end of the two clamps were sealed since they couldn’t handle an extreme load.

Great way to mount rod holders.Made a custom fishing bucket for shore / dock fishing. Rod holders had to big of a hole for my ultra light rods. I made some insert sleeves for them. I mounted 2 sets of these rod holder on my cart. The springs on these rod holders work great.

Where you clamp it, it staysHave used these for years and love them! They are strong and sturdy! One cool thing would be an option to be able to clamp it to a flat surface and twist it into position or have a separate piece that clamped to the flat surface with a rod, then you could keep the cupholder as it is, but it is the best cupholder that I have ever used.

I went to “Returns” and found this item is not eligible to be returned.Regarding the product itself… Why do you think I bought another one? Because it is so good! If it weren’t for the “no return”, 5 stars.***UPDATE*** 5 STARS!!!! I was contacted by the seller and they “made it right”. This is a small, family business who really knows how to do it right!! As I stated in my original review, I do love their product and highly recommend it to anyone with a use. I am a musician and it is a permanent fixture on my microphone stand. (usually it holds a beer and a water… but occasionally 2 beers – lol)

Great overall for our boat, just wish they were a little deeperI saw these cup holders on someone’s boat and faces been looking for something like this for 4 years! They raved about them so I gave them a shot. So far they are pretty great. The only design change I’d wish for is that the base not go so narrow. I’m not sure why the manufacturer made each base bottom with a very narrow section if unusable space. I imagine there was some reason, but as I use 24oz drink cups they are a bit shallow. I’ve had these only for a month, and so far my cups haven’t bumped out under tow, even at 45mph on the water, which makes me pretty happy.One other think to know: I can only use them on my more narrow poles. It would be nice to have a variation that has a wider spring grip, but for now these work good. If that changes, I’ll update my review. Love how many colors they offer, hope to see even more in the future!

Outstanding customer service!I purchased the Robocup two years ago after cleaning up numerous beverages that kept spilling on the deck of our boat. It has proved to be a lifesaver in that regard. The bottom of the holder unscrews allowing easy access to caps and junk that gets thrown into it. The spring on it recently broke so I contacted Robocup through their customer service. I was surprised to get an immediate response. I explained the situation thinking that they would send a new spring. To my delight within 48 hours I received a new Robocup! I love this product and I love their customer service even more! Hard to find outstanding service these days! 10 stars!!!

Sturdy cupI recently bought a DIT cart for photography tethering and added this robo cups to the side of it, the quality is really good and sturdy, the clamps that attach to the cart are very strong and they have anti slip material, perfect for a coffee while shooting on location

BrilliantBest bit of kit we bought, funnily enough. Raises a smile wherever we go – “do you seriously have cup holders on that wheelchair?!” – and means that neither of us had to be without a cocktail at Secret Cinema, whether I was pushing or he was self propelling. 🙂
