Description
The Dominator is just under 12 Inch long and produces an incredible 2,000 lumen beam of dazzling white light on high. This blinding output is the result of a state of the art LED and a precision reflector that produce an extended range beam powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery that’s regulated to maximize output and runtime. It can also be powered by twelve 123A lithium batteries, should the need arise. The Dominator, currently SureFire’s most powerful handheld LED searchlight/spotlight, is an excellent choice for law enforcement, military, border security and search and rescue personnel who require maximum illumination. The Dominator features a hard anodized aerospace aluminum body with large heat dissipating fins.

- Charging the Dominator: connect the charger to a 120V outlet, or into a 12-volt cigarette lighter/accessory socket when using the DC adapter, then plug the charging cord into the UDR’s charging socket
- An alternate power source is included: one battery magazine that holds twelve 123A disposable batteries; the batteries are also included
- When disposable 123A batteries are used in the UDR Dominator, runtimes at all settings are increased

Versatile, Dependable Illumination ToolThe reflector casts a bright, narrow, spotlight beam for penetrating the night, surrounded by a useful amount of wide-angle spill light. Many high-lumen flashlights don’t have practical, low-light settings. With the Dominator, merely select one of the lower brightness choices for closeup work, indoors.All the controls are positive and easy to use in the dark. The main switch button is easily found by touch alone, because it’s directly above the rather deep recess for the charging plug. I’m guessing the designers placed it in that position on purpose. I find the ring for brightness settings on this light, much more positive and repeatable than other methods.I love the ability to recharge without removing the battery. Charging time is exceptionally short. The power-indicator lets you know when it needs charging. (Or a battery change, when using 123A batteries).I was less interested in light weight and convenience, than in a versatile, high performance light for car and home. This light delivers. If you’re willing and able to drop over a grand on a flashlight, this is a great choice.

with even the min setting doing a good job illuminating a roomUnbelievably bright for a handheld device. Comes with a sling, battery magazine that takes 12x 123 batteries, rechargable battery, charger with various international plugs.It employees thermal regulation to protect the light, with the light varying intensity once the heat sink fins ~160F. After about 2 minutes on max in a 75F room, the light will step down to protect the light. The various intermediate settings are very bright, with even the min setting doing a good job illuminating a room.Beam pattern is excellent. For such a strong center, the ‘spill’ is remarkably bright and helpful in letting you see the ‘whole picture’.I now have to find a use to justify buying this light 🙂

This light is awesome!!This light is awesome!!! I needed a light that would reach the edge of my 40 acre property when the dog is going nuts. I now know clearly if it is coyotes, deer, etc. as this light has tremendous reach. It is about 1/2 mile to my neighbors tree line and this light has no problem reaching that far. Obviously expensive, however there are no disappointments with quality or performance.

SUREFIRE NAILED IT WITH THE NAME!!! THIS LIGHT DOMINATES!!! AWESOME FLASHLIGHT!!! ANOTHER GREAT SUREFIRE PRODUCT!Super bright white light!! I own a bunch of Surefire lights and this one like the rest are built to last and if you do have an issue Surefire stands behind their products 100%. I really like the selector ring to adjust light output and its charging port is way more convenient than having to remove the battery for charging. It’s just basically a bad a** light hands down and well worth the $ in my opinion!!! Highly recommended!!

GarbagePiece of crap. My Dominator stopped working after a month. This is the 2nd time that a Surefire light has failed me. First the V2 Vampire, then this garbage! Total waste of money. What’s happening to you Surefire?? Doesnt even deserve one star

Great addition to the Surefire lineGreat addition to the Surefire line. The Dominator works as advertised and has a nice balance to it. LED light is very white and puts out a quality beam up to 2400 lumens. The Three Head Switches which control the Constant-on, Momentary-on and Maxblast could be easier to push. Maybe the switches will push-in easier after more use. Overall….this flashlight is awesome!
